Wednesday, October 13 -- Effective Grant Writing

Writing grants that get funded takes both skill and know-how.  This day includes tips to help you develop the skills and a panel of local experts willing to share their know-how.  This power-packed day begins with real-world tips on what type of organizations offer grants for project like yours, what they are looking for in the grant applications they fund and what you need to say to get their attention.  The day closes with a panel of experts from Delaware County organizations that offer and/or administer grants, including Peg Ellsworth (The M-ARK Project), Susan Kenny (Roxbury Arts Group), Mary Beth Silano (Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and the Catskill Development Foundation) and a representative from Delaware County Economic Development.
